Thursday, February 2, 2012 in The Oakland Tribune, “West Oakland celebrates the opening of a youth center, designed by teens” discusses the center opened Thursday on the high school campus, next to a school-based health clinic. Much needed services/programs will be offered at the center, of which the students had the opportunity to design the layout of. The project was generously funded in part by The San Francisco Foundation.
