Wednesday, March 23, 2011 on Metropolitan Transportation Commission, “MTC contribution keyes new affordable housing fund: first deal slated for San Francisco,” announces the establishment of a $50M fund for affordable housing. The San Francisco Foundation provided $500,000 toward the cause. CEO Sandra R. Hernández, M.D., of TSFF was at the launch. TSFF is part of the Great Communities Collaborative which seeks to create affordable healthy communities for low-income groups.
