Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 in Beyond Chron, “Gordon Chin, longtime Chinatown and SF affordable housing leader, retires,” announces the retirement of Chin from his position with the Chinatown Community Development Center. In the early stages of his activist career he helped to start the foundation by applying for a grant at The San Francisco Foundation.
