Legacy Society Annual Luncheon

Please join us for our Annual Legacy Society Luncheon.

For decades, we have worked hand-in-hand with individual and family donors to create legacies that provide effective solutions to complex issues, fulfilling visions of a stronger region, and world. The luncheon is a special opportunity to engage with fellow civic-minded philanthropists and hear from innovative nonprofit leaders whose impact is made possible by legacy gifts to The San Francisco Foundation.

This year’s event will honor Dr. Mary H. Layman and her legacy of arts-in-education. Featuring guest speakers The San Francisco Foundation Program Officers Lisa Villarreal and Tere Romo, and a special performance and presentation by Marc Bamuthi Joseph and Youth Speaks.

Collaboration after a disaster can take many forms. What elements contribute to effective collaboration? What challenges must be overcome? How do we plan for collaboration and take advantage of opportunities in the moment to work together?

Join us in a discussion with Bay Area nonprofits on new practices in the field, share about current collaborative preparedness efforts, and engage with a nonprofit responder to Superstorm Sandy.
