Donor Center Help

Accessing your fund at The San Francisco Foundation has never been more convenient. With our secure online Donor Center, you can view your balance, track contributions and grants, make grant recommendations, and research nonprofit organizations.

Donor Center is a valuable tool for our donors to manage their funds. With 24-hour access, Donor Center provides information about your philanthropy when you need it.

Our professional Philanthropic Services team is here to assist you with your philanthropy. We offer a broad spectrum of resources aimed at helping you achieve your philanthropic goals. We can also connect you with our Program Department; they know the regional issues facing our community and the leaders and institutions addressing those concerns. Partner with us to strengthen the impact of your giving. 

Log On

Visit our website at www.sff.org. You can access Donor Center from any page – click on the Donor Center tab in the upper right of your screen.

Enter your username and password.

If you forgot your username or password, click on the Forgot your Username or Password link. Enter your email address we have on file and select the continue button; an email with a new password will be immediately sent to you.

Password Requirements
1. Password cannot contain all or part of the user's account name
2. Must contain characters from three of the following four categories:

•English uppercase characters (A through Z).
•English lowercase characters (a through z).
•Base-10 digits (0 through 9).
•Non-alphanumeric (for example!, $, # ,%), extended ASCII, symbolic, or linguistic characters.

View your Personalized Home Page

On this page, view a snapshot of your account balance, grant analysis, grant history, and the latest news and resources for our donors.

Recommend a Grant

On this page, you can make a grant recommendation from your fund. To select your grant recipient, click on the Change/Select link to search our database for the organization. If you are recommending a grant to a new organization, you will have the opportunity to add it to our database.

Once you complete this page, click the Add to Grant Cart button. This adds your recommendation to your Grant Cart. You will have the opportunity to make additional grant recommendations, or go directly to the Grant Cart to complete your recommendations.

Visit your Grant Cart to Complete your Recommendations
Carefully review your grant recommendations. You can remove or edit your recommendations from this page. Be sure to check the Certify box before clicking Submit. You will receive an email confirmation of your recommendations.

View your Grant History in My Grants

In the My Grants section, you can view both your Grants Under Review and your Grants Approved. The Grants Under Review show grants that are still in progress; Grants Approved is your recent grant history.

Search San Francisco Foundation Grants

Discover new grantmaking opportunities. Search the Foundation’s database of Bay Area organizations that are making an impact on our community. These organizations are vetted by the experts in our Program Department and have received a grant from the Foundation.

View your Contributions

View the Contributions to your fund and the description of each donation.

Manage your Profile

Change your password and email address in the My Profile section. You can also view the other individuals authorized to access your account.

Log Out of Donor Center

When you have completed your visit to Donor Center, please click the Log Out button on the top right of every page. For security purposes, you should always log out when you leave this section of The San Francisco Foundation’s website. For your protection, you will automatically be logged out if you have had no activity for 30 minutes.

Security

Donor Center is a secure website. We use the industry standard Secure Socket Layer protocol to protect the security of your information. SSL Technology encrypts your information to prevent it from being decoded by anyone.
