A Tribute to Gary Hernandez

Community leader Gary Hernandez passed away unexpectedly last week at the age of 52. Gary was a leader in Latino community, a dedicated public servant, a talented lawyer, and an inspiring mentor. His commitment to the community was among his highest priorities. He was a long time board member of the Latino Community Foundation, was instrumental in helping to bring a University of California campus to Merced, and supported numerous organizations in his decades of public service.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 23rd at the San Francisco Four Seasons Hotel beginning at 2:00 p.m.
