Our Financials

The 2008 financial statements reflect the Foundation’s support of our community.

Contributions totaled over $120 million, 14% greater than in 2007. Grantmaking exceeded $96 million. Net investment losses of 4% through June 30, 3008, reflect the beginning of a market decline that continues into fiscal year 2009. Total assets remained over $1 billion as of June 30, 2008.

An all time high of $96 million in grantmaking demonstrates our donors’ commitment to making the Bay Area a better place for all.
