Fresh on the heels of the successful Dynamic Adaptability Conference comes a new opportunity to broaden your organization’s impact and outreach.

Join us on Thursday, February 18th for a panel of distinguished experts from the worlds of sports, healthcare, and tourism, as we discuss what the arts can learn from other fields. Expect a flurry of new ideas and inspiration from these visionaries who have pushed the boundaries of their organizations and opened new doors for opportunity.

Speakers:

Patrick J. Gallagher
Mr. Gallagher is president of the San Francisco Giants, and stands as one of the longest serving executives in Giants history. He is credited with being among the most creative marketing and business minds in professional sports, a reputation earned during his 33 years with the organization. He has served as chairman of the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau, first chairman of the City’s new Tourism Improvement District, and board member of Major League Baseball Properties, the California Chamber of Commerce, and Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame.

Bernard J. Tyson
Mr. Tyson is executive vice president of health plan and hospital operations at Kaiser Permanente. Since joining Kaiser in 1985, he has worked in many capacities and overseen several groundbreaking initiatives, including the award-winning “Thrive” campaign. He is currently chairman of the board of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan in the Mid-Atlantic States and is a member of the board of trustees of Occidental College and the Executive Leadership Foundation.

Previously she served as director of cultural tourism marketing with the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau, director of destination marketing with the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County (Music Center), and manager of visitor/convention/tourism services with Target Corporation/Marshall Field’s in Chicago. In her new position, Ms. Hasenbalg will promote San Francisco as a cultural destination to local, national, and international visitors, travel trade professionals, and journalists, and serve as a liaison to the city’s thriving arts community.

This event is sponsored by the Wallace Foundation in partnership with The San Francisco Foundation and Grants for the Arts. It is one of a series of community events comprising the four-year, $7.7 million Wallace Foundation Bay Area Initiative.
