Please join the Arts and Culture Program, the San Francisco Arts Commission, and our community partners for an introduction to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and its grants programs.
On July 27, 28, and 29, Douglas Sonntag, the director of dance at the NEA, will provide a brief overview of the agency, including the various multiple disciplines/fields, and how to apply for federal funding. Mr. Sonntag will review eligibility requirements, the logistics of applying electronically, and provide a preview of changes to come; a question and answer session will follow.
The San Jose workshop will take place Thursday, July 28th, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at San Jose City Hall, 200 East Santa Clara Street, Wing Room 120, San Jose. Validated parking available at City Hall. For directions, please visit http://www.sanjoseca.gov/newcityhall/gettingthere.asp.
