Dynamic Adaptability: A Conference on New Thinking and New Strategies for the Arts
Join nonprofit cultural leaders and artists as we think in fresh ways about the future of the arts in the Bay Area. This conference brings together creative thinkers from arts, neuroscience, business, media, and philanthropy for a day of conversations with you. We’ll hear about new research on artists, donors, and creativity; discuss effective strategies for change; and make new contacts that will help us evolve.
Speakers include Jonah Lehrer (How We Decide and Proust was a Neuroscientist), Perry Chen (Kickstarter), James Rucker (Color of Change), Laura Sydell (NPR), Hugo Morales (Radio Bilingüe), Jon Funabiki (SFSU), and Margaret Jenkins (Margaret Jenkins Dance Company).
Sponsored by The San Francisco Foundation and San Francisco Grants for the Arts, in partnership with Helicon Collaborative, with support from The Wallace Foundation, The San Francisco Art Commission, Leveraging Investments in Creativity (LINC), and the Center for Cultural Innovation.
The one-day conference is complimentary, however, pre-registration is required before Friday, January 15th.
