Building Inclusive Communities: Racial Equity and Immigration

The FAITHS and Koshland Programs of The San Francisco Foundation invite you to attend a regional symposium focusing on racial justice and immigrant rights.

Please join us on Wednesday, March 30th for this afternoon and evening event for faith and community representatives, neighborhood and student leaders, and other community and faith-based organizations interested in the cross-section of these issues.

Panel and discussion topics include:

• Globalization and Immigration - with Bill Ong Hing of USF Law School, Nunu Kidane of Priority Africa Network, and Ana Pérez of CARECEN
• National, State, and Local Policy and Law Enforcement Issues - with speakers from California Immigrant Policy Center, ACLU, and National Immigration Forum, and a DREAM Act student
• Immigration and Racial Justice - with keynote speaker Jacqueline Copeland-Carson followed by a panel facilitated by Reverend Deborah Lee of Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights/CLUE-CA

This symposium is free of charge. Music, dinner, and translation will be provided.
