Koshland Program 25th Anniversary Celebration
We are very pleased to announce that the Koshland Program of The San Francisco Foundation is celebrating its 25th year of promoting civic unity in the Bay Area. Join us in honoring the many neighborhood leaders, residents, and community activists who have made this program a success. Come to an evening of music, refreshments, and dancing at the historic City Club of San Francisco.
No grants made during Thanksgiving week
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we will not be making donor advised grants the week of November 19th. Any grant recommendations submitted during this week will be processed the following week.
End of year giving deadline
If you would like your charitable contributions to be tax-deductible for 2007, the Foundation must receive them by 1:00 PST on December 31, 2007. If you are transfering securities or wiring contributions, please notify Courtney King, gifts and trusts assistant.
Donor Site Visit to Alonzo King's LINES Ballet
Please join Alonzo King, the celebrated choreographer and artistic director of LINES Ballet (and one of TSFF's 2007 Community Leadership Awardees) and The San Francisco Foundation's John Killacky and Lisa Rose for a donor visit to LINES Ballet. Donors will be treated to a sneak preview rehearsal by the acclaimed dancers of the LINES Ballet, and then participated in a discussion with this visionary choreographer.
2008 Community Leadership Awards Nomination Deadline
We invite you to nominate outstanding leaders in your community for The San Francisco Foundation 2008 Community Leadership Awards. Individuals receive $10,000 awards and organizations are awarded $20,000. Read more for complete information and to access the online nomination form. The deadline for nominations have been extended.
